Hey there! Thanks for stopping by to learn more about us. We're glad you're here.
"I just wanted to save a friend's profile picture for their birthday slideshow, but it seemed way more complicated than it should be. That's when I realized - there has to be an easier way."
Facebook Profile Viewer was born from a simple frustration. We've all been there - you want to download someone's profile picture (maybe for a birthday card, a group photo collage, or just to save a memory), but Facebook makes it unnecessarily difficult to get the high-quality version.
Sure, you could right-click and save, but you'd end up with a tiny, pixelated thumbnail. You could dig through Facebook's interface trying to find the full-size image, but that's time-consuming and confusing. We thought: why isn't there just a simple, straightforward tool that does this?
So we built one.
Our goal is simple: make it easy for people to access publicly available Facebook profile pictures and cover photos - the ones that are already visible to everyone - in their original, high-quality format.
We believe that if information is already public, accessing it shouldn't require jumping through hoops or using sketchy third-party apps that might compromise your privacy.
We don't store your searches, we don't track you, and we don't access anything that isn't already public. Your privacy matters.
This tool is completely free to use. No subscriptions, no paywalls, no hidden fees. It's just a useful tool that we wanted to exist.
No confusing interfaces, no unnecessary features. Paste a URL, get the picture. That's it.
We only access public information and we actively prevent access to locked or private profiles. We respect boundaries.
What we do:
What we don't do:
Honestly, we built this tool because we needed it ourselves. Then we realized other people might find it useful too. We keep it free because:
That said, running a web service does have costs (servers, domains, APIs, development time). If you find this tool helpful and want to support us, there's a "Buy Me a Coffee" button on the homepage. It's completely optional, but genuinely appreciated. Every coffee helps keep the lights on! ☕
We promise to:
We take ethics seriously. While our tool makes it easier to download public profile pictures, we encourage you to use it responsibly:
If you see our tool being used inappropriately or have concerns, please let us know.
We're constantly working to improve Facebook Profile Viewer. We listen to user feedback, fix bugs quickly, and add features that make sense. If you have suggestions or run into issues, we'd love to hear from you through our contact page.
Thanks for using Facebook Profile Viewer. We built this tool with care, and we hope it makes your life just a little bit easier. If it does, consider sharing it with friends who might find it useful too!
